KIRIN OS / BEYOND MEASUREMENT

What comes after measurement.

After checking loudness and peaks with LUFS and True Peak, and hearing-related features with Sharpness and Bark, compare versions, share them, and prepare a show. Explore three workflows in Kirin OS.

This experience measures one audio file and lets you listen to it. The following describes app features; these links do not transfer this page’s audio or results.

01 / COLLABORATIONCollaboration example: review a received version

Collaboration

Review the same version
Compare received audio with the previous version at the same playback position. Check LUFS, True Peak, and whether the file matches.
Keep comments and decisions
Comment at a playback position and record review and version-adoption decisions. Your collaborator can write a response in the browser-based Listening Room and return it manually.
Version → Listening Room → CommentsOpen →
02 / STAGESTAGE example: choose songs and versions for a show

Perform with STAGE.

Prepare sheets and the show
This is a separate workflow from loudness measurement. Write lyrics, chords, and repeats in a song sheet, or import ChordPro. Choose the setlist and saved versions for the show in STAGE.
Read the sheet on an iPad
Transfer the PDF to an iPad on the same Wi-Fi with a one-use QR code. Save it on the iPad and display the chord-and-lyric sheet during the performance.
Song sheet → STAGE → PDF / QR → iPadOpen →
03 / VERSION & LISTENINGVersion example: manage mixes and masters

Version & listening

Keep versions and compare
Manage versions of each Work and A/B mixes or masters at the same playback position. Check each version’s LUFS, True Peak, and hearing-related features.
Choose how to listen
Hide names with Blind Compare, test whether you can distinguish versions with ABX, or focus on one track in Listening Mode. Choose the mode for your listening purpose.

An illustrative example at 120 BPM: C → Am → F → G. It is not beat or chord analysis of your audio. Lyrics entered here are never saved or sent.

This browser experience does not automatically analyse beats or chords. New tempo, metre, Key, and Chord candidates in app version 1.0.9 are undergoing quality verification; automatic adoption is not enabled.

Scope and accuracy checks

Explore waveform, sample peak, RMS, LUFS-I/M/S, True Peak, LRA, Zwicker Loudness, Sharpness, Bark specific loudness, PSB, the Eye, and VU. Automatic beat and chord analysis is not included in this public experience.

This page runs public ebur128 0.1.10 and Hypha psychoacoustic cores as WASM. Limited known-signal and independent-reference tests have been performed. This is not standards certification or a guarantee of full parity with product binaries. No private Kirin OS engine is distributed.

LRA is unavailable for tracks shorter than 3 seconds or when the signal is below the loudness gate. Values for tracks shorter than 60 seconds are provisional. Momentary loudness requires a full 400 ms window; short-term requires 3 seconds. Missing or failed measurements are never replaced with zero.

Supports 44.1/48/96 kHz, mono/stereo PCM or IEEE float WAV, up to 5 minutes, without a file-size limit. MP3, AIFF, RF64, and extensible WAV are not supported. The 12-second synthetic demo uses the same public calculations. Close the tab or clear to discard results.
