Kirin Mastering Releases Kirin OS 1.0, Connecting Song Information from Measurement to Release and Live Performance
Kirin Mastering announces Kirin OS 1.0, officially released on July 22, 2026.
Kirin OS 1.0 includes every measurement feature in Kirin Sense and works with measurement data received from Kirin Hypha. It measures loudness, True Peak, phase, and dynamics, plays detected noise locations, compares the frequency overlap between two selected audio files, and shows the changes Hypha recorded before and after processing.
Users can keep songs they make in Works and organize songs and Albums they listen to in Catalog. Versions, related files, and release information stay with each Work; READ results, tags, credits, and genres can stay with items on Catalog shelves. For live-show preparation, performers and venues can exchange information as HTML. Compatible external clients can also read and organize local records and request updates to allowed fields for user review. Kirin OS does not alter audio.
Kirin Hypha is available for free. Kirin Sense is $39 and Kirin OS is $297, each a one-time purchase. After purchase verification, Sense owners can request a one-time OS upgrade code for $258.
